Is it okay to hate?

Today, we will be talking about how hating is good, but not healthy.
When I am talking about hating, I mean hating on someone. It could be someone who you just don't talk to anymore or someone who screwed things up with you.
Up until recently, I used to follow this thing where I would not hate on someone because hate is a big word. It's a big emotion, and I never felt the need to do so until it wasn't the case.
I think hating is healthy. It's natural, and it's okay to do so because you cannot like everyone, neither can you make everyone like you.
In life, we are going to go through rough patches with people. Maybe our close friends, maybe our colleagues, family members, and the list goes on. In short, we are going to make enemies because our opinions may differ, and we may not be willing to compromise on those things, and vice versa. And that's okay.
If someone has really hurt you in the past through their actions, I feel that it's okay to hate on them.
Because here's the thing about people.
People know what they are doing. They are not dumb. They know that what they are doing is going to trigger a reaction out of you, and if they are still going to go through with it, then that just says a lot about them and also how they perceive you.
'Love' is not the solution to everything.
"Mending things" is not the solution to everything.
I feel sometimes we should just let a fight be the end of a connection because you know deep down that if you resolve it with that specific person, be it a romantic relationship or a friendship, they are not going to change. They are going to do the same thing, maybe worse, and this time the impact could be even more on you. So just save yourself from the hassle and cut them off.
You know when a person is triggering you, they do it to get a reaction out of you. And what's the best thing that you can do?
NOT GIVE THEM A REACTION.
I think our silence can be the best revenge.
A sweet revenge.
Recently, there was something that was bothering me, which I didn't know was really affecting me. Then I put two and two together and realized what a toll it was taking on me mentally, that I almost had a panic attack.
And that's when I realized that now is the time to stop obsessing over this. This is the time where I have to make my peace with the situation that I am not happy with, but I still have to pretend that I am okay with what's going on.
And now I am unbothered.
But I needed that panic attack.
I needed that to tell and remind me that its not worth obsessing over or breaking my head over because I am not in control of that.
So, letting go is painful, but it gets better over time.
I am not kidding you. I stopped obsessing over that situation, and I think I am in a better place.
This thing was affecting me so much that I was literally crying every night, but now I am all good.
And you need that one intense breaking point to tell you that it's all going to be okay.
That you're going to survive this.
That it's not the end of the world.
And I think many of us need to hear that.
Sometimes you want to hear it from your close people, and we don't get that.
These are the times where you have to be there for yourself. You have to show up when nobody else shows up for you. You've got to pick up the broken pieces and glue yourself together. ❤️
In conclusion, I want to say that hating is bad.
Even if you think that it is a healthy form of showing your emotions, over time it gets toxic. It gets to the point where it affects you mentally.
So, I would say that you can dwell on it for a while, but we should have the self-realisation to know when to stop.
So, as long as you have that clarity in mind, I guess it's okay to do so.
This feels less of a blog post and more like a message.
Honestly, I did not know what to post for this month's blog, but I wanted to keep the consistency, so I just thought of writing about this because it has been on my mind.
Remember, feeling hate is natural, but holding onto it for too long can hurt you, so the key is knowing when to let go. ❤️
